January 9th 2023

 Today was a day like any other. I woke up, went to work, rocked it out and came home where I hung out with my wife, gamed and watched a show. 

Today's show was starting the show "Outlander." It is actually starting off pretty interesting, I cannot wait to see the direction that it takes. We got about three episodes into the show tonight and I definitely see the Ronald D. Moore elements. He was a great writer on Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica so I definitely went into this show with high expectations. 

I also knocked out my dailies in Fortnite as well as got in the activities to collect my Microsoft rewards points for the day. For today's rewards, I did my usual searches on Bing on my PC and my phone, completed by daily sets and also played GamePass games on my PC. Today's games were "As Dusk Falls,"  "Microsoft Solitaire Collection," and "Bugsnax" (which I played via Xbox cloud gaming on my phone). "Bugsnax" is a great game with an easy achievement to get 500 extra points this month via the "My Rewards" app on Xbox. I finally finished my first play through of "As Dusk Falls" tonight. I ended up with an interesting ending. I am debating if I want to play more as it is a good game to get a daily achievement for 50 extra points. Lately, however, I have found myself re-engulfed in "Persona 5 Royal." I loved this game on PS4 but continue to love it on Xbox and somewhat following a guide as to maximize my playthrough. I hope to finish sometime before the 19th when "Persona 3" and "Persona 4" both drop on Xbox. 

On Another front, I have been checking out an Anime on Netflix call "Beaststars." A very odd concept, but I am into it. Curious as to the direction it will take as it is most comparable to an adult "Zootopia."

Tomorrow should be an interesting day at work as I receive my 2022 review and give 2022 review to my reports. Maybe I will get a good bonus this year and get a new 4K 120hz TV and PS5. We will see. Tomorrow I only find out my rating and not my increase of bonus.
